VYCC Pledges to Donate Ten Tons of Food by 2013

In two short years, the VYCC has grown its Farm and Food Program from a quarter-acre garden plot to a five-acre vegetable farm and poultry operation that provides food to relieve hunger in Vermont and education and training opportunities to young people.
Last year the VYCC donated approximately 2,750 pounds of food to Vermont’s charitable food system. As the farm grows, so too will our donations to those in need.
